2020-2021

At Napa Valley Community College (NVC), I was in SHPE as Co-President during the school year 2020-2021.

We were faced with living in a pandemic and maintaining a community. We continuned to host 10 workshops for the school year. I strategized for increasing student engagement. Even though it was virtual, we grew 68% in event attendance and a 20% increase of social media presence online.

Create and implement workshops to help members prepare for professional development and maintain structure in the club.

Resume Workshop

I helped coordinate professional and career development projects. This is our resume workshop with Dr. Sherry Tennyson.

Virtual Conference

We continued to have our annual "Breakfast with Engineers" but virtually. I helped set up the even on Airmeet. This allowed for our traditional speed networking sessions and conference style setting.
