My internship with CLS was focused on helping people become citizens. The CLS internship is a partnership between the Napa Valley Foundation, One the Move, Puertas Abiertas, and Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA). 

I had the opportunity to learn how to fill out the U.S. citizenship application (N-400). I attended 4 workshops open to the community memeber to recieve help to fill it out - filling out 3 full N-400 each workshop. 

Additionally, I helped conduct mock interviews. During the interviews I would ask about their legal information and civic questions. 

I also helped as a Spanish-English translator. 

I assisted with any questions regarding the application process.
